CFS-ASHALT PATCH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CFS-Asphalt Patch Kit is a three component 100% solids epoxy mortar designed for patching asphalt. (BLACK ONLY)

Similar to our CFS-Epoxy Mortar kits, this material is designed to stick to tar and asphalt.

All contents are packaged within a 5 gallon bucket.  Inside the bucket, Part A & Part B of epoxy and sand are included. 30 lbs total weight.

Pour the sand into another bucket, mix part A & part B in the bucket thoroughly. 

After mixing the epoxy, pour 1/2 of the sand back into the bucket,  mix thoroughly paying attention to the bottom and edges of the bucket, pour the other half of sand into the bucket and mix thoroughly. +/- 2-3 minute mix time.

After the material is mixed, place it in the repair areas, trowel or tamp with a trowel as needed for your finish.

PRO TIP: AFTER THE MATERIAL IS TROWELED IN PLACE, SPRAY DENATURED ALCOHOL ON THE SURFACE BEFORE YOUR FINAL PULL  WITH THE TROWEL AND THE EPOXY MORTAR WILL NOT STICK TO IT AND ALLOW FOR A NICE SMOOTH FINISH.

+/- 25  minutes of working time once material is mixed.

This can be seal coated after cure.

Material sets in +- 8 hours / Full cure is 48 hours

Preparation- pressure wash, wire brush  to remove all dirt from surface prior to installation.

1 Kit = .25 cubic feet (approx.) 30 pounds ( 432 cubic inches)  approx. ( +/- 12″ x 12″ x 3″) repair area
